So Sweetly SleepThe Japanese Flag.

So Sweetly Sleep CD Jacket with a beautiful woman in white sleeping on her back on a bed with white sheets.

When I entered my studio in June 2011, I had intended to record a piece of music I’d composed some years earlier, but came out with something quite different. The peaceful opening piano melody was improvised in a moment of inspiration, after which everything else fell smoothly into place. All that was needed was a suitable title.

A good title will often suggest the mood of the music, and also offer a certain level of ambiguity, giving the listener’s imagination greater freedom. So Sweetly Sleep seemed to do both of these, and was therefore adopted as the name for this relaxing piece.
