I'll Always Be There For You
About This Track
If “I love you” is one of the most beautiful things we can say, perhaps “I’ll always be there for you” comes close behind. It is a promise of devotion — the sentiment at the heart of this song — brought to life by the exceptional vocals of Lizbert Belostrino and Élan Noelle.
I’ll Always Be There for You has evolved over seventeen years. For those interested in its journey, the story behind the song is outlined below. For everyone else, simply press play and let the music speak for itself.

The Story Behind the Song
I’ll Always Be There for You began life as Nakagawa, a song written, recorded, and produced in 2002 over just nine days for a songwriting competition promoting the town of Nakagawa in Japan. Although it wasn’t successful in the competition, I knew the song deserved another chapter.
In 2003, I rewrote the lyrics, reshaped the melody, and produced a new recording featuring Lizbert Belostrino on vocals. At the time, I considered it among my strongest work — and then, somewhat unexpectedly, I left it there.
Sixteen years later, in the summer of 2019, the song resurfaced. After working with the remarkable vocalist Élan Noelle on Say That You Love Me, I felt inspired to revisit the song. I rerecorded elements of the 2003 version and invited Élan to add backing vocals. Her creative input elevated the song in ways I hadn’t imagined.
By the time it was complete, I’ll Always Be There for You had been produced across four studios on three continents, bringing together British, American, and Filipino musicians. The final version was released in December 2019.
Music is Life
People ask where my inspiriation comes from. My answer is always from the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, the experiences I’ve lived, and my heart.
Someone once said, with music we bare our heart. I think this is true.
